Alvin Tan

Mr. Tan is the Senior Partner of the firm. With a strong foundation in legal and corporate advisory work, Mr. Tan has developed a broad practice encompassing legal advisory, civil and corporate matters, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions across various industries. Drawing on his experience and commercial insight, he is committed to providing clients with comprehensive, practical, and strategic legal solutions.

Role & Background

Mr. Tan has extensive experience in resolving disputes through civil litigation and arbitration, and he plays an active role in cross-border investment strategies and advisory, particularly in facilitating investments between China and Southeast Asia. He is also the co-founder of one of the largest China-based law firms to establish international cooperative offices in Malaysia, supporting the development of regional legal networks and cross-border collaboration.

Mr. Tan obtained his Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London and subsequently completed the Certificate in Legal Practice in Malaysia in 2009. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2011. In addition, he is a qualified adjudicator and is empanelled with the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).
